I kind of feel like you can add sour cream and dill to anything and call it Russian. But my grandmother used to make this salad and I grew up eating it. It’s refreshing and a perfect side dish for chicken, fish, pork, steak, everything.
- 1 large cucumber or 2 small cucumbers, diced
- 1 pint of cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
- 1/4 a small onion, sliced length wise
- 1 tbsp of dill
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- salt and pepper
Combine all ingredients. The longer this sits out the better the flavors will mesh together.
