Did you know that what you eat affects your mood? Or your skin? I can help you achieve a healthy and beautiful body, clearer skin and a positive attitude. What we eat determines how we look, how we feel, and whether or not we will develop diseases. I believe the way our ancestors ate is a template in which to work from. If your great, great grandmother didn’t eat it or wouldn’t recognize it as food, you probably shouldn’t either.
I coach people to eat real food and throw out the bullshit dietary advice they’ve heard all of their lives (because it doesn’t work) and to take pride in their bodies. Our overall health and what we eat literally affects our entire life, whether you’re looking to lose weight, reduce anxiety or depression, foster a happier mental state, have more fun, or just be a healthier person overall. To put it bluntly, if you eat crap, you’re going to look and feel like crap. As a nutrition coach, I am more than happy to accompany you every step of the way when achieving your health goals, but I’m not going to sugar coat it. Reinventing yourself takes work, but it’s worth it. You’ll be better, happier, and the best version of yourself.
I have been certified a Certified Nutrition Consultant since 2012 and earned my certification from Blue Heron Academy. I specialize in eating whole, unrefined foods to achieve wellness while challenging the paradigm of conventional healthy eating.
I cover health topics, recipes, and bits of my personal life (because I’m really interesting, right?). I advocate on the side of small, local, organic farms who have recently come under attack by the FDA. I am a staunch supporter of the anti-GMO movement, both because genetically modified organisms destroy our health, as well as the health of the environment. I encourage people to vote with their money and buy their food locally, to connect with their food, and to take pride in their bodies and what they eat.
